This method is called the YIN method.
This pitch detection method has been shown to have an average error rate percentage of 1.03%.

Not only is this guitar tuner extremely accurate, its also very easy to use.
This tuner automatically displays the chord you're trying to tune to upon playing a string without you having to specify it.
It also displays the pitch value in Hz.
To tune your guitar, all you have to do is open the app and play a string.
Then, follow the red and green lights and tune accordingly.
